LAS VEGAS SPRINGS PRESERVE DESERT LIVING CENTER Las Vegas, NV

Owned by the Las Vegas Valley Water District, The Las Vegas Springs Preserve is a $250 million non-gaming cultural attraction located a few miles off the Las Vegas Strip. With 180 acres of green museums, botanical gardens, sustainability galleries, classrooms, trails and concert venues, the Preserve is designed to set new standards in green building while becoming a cultural hub for locals and tourists. The Desert Living Center (DLC) is a complex of five buildings and is the “green” jewel in the crown of the Springs Preserve. The DLC is the first Platinum LEED buildings in the state of Nevada and were designed to demonstrate and promote green building technologies.
